This postcard-perfect scene isn't a dream — it's the experience Baracas Lounge offers. Tucked along the stunning Chloraka coastal path in Paphos, this spot is a real gem for anyone who loves beautiful views and moments that feel suspended in time.

After spending an absolutely timeless moment there, I'm sharing my full review of this must-visit place.

The Setting: A Modern and Contemporary Transformation

While Baracas Lounge was already known for its exceptional location, the establishment has recently taken things to a whole new level. Over the winter of 2025-2026, the restaurant underwent a complete renovation. Out with the old décor, in with a modern, clean, and thoroughly contemporary style. The new design beautifully highlights the natural surroundings: sleek lines and trendy materials blend perfectly with the blue of the sea, creating an atmosphere that's chic, warm, and ultra-relaxing all at once. The restrooms are modern and spotless!

The View: A Breathtaking Spectacle

This is, without question, Baracas Lounge's greatest asset: its 180-degree panoramic view over the water. Whether you stop by in the morning for a frappé after a walk along the coastal path, or spend the evening there, the magic works at every moment. But it's at dusk that the experience becomes truly grand. Baracas Lounge enjoys one of the most beautiful sunsets in the entire region. Watching the sun slowly sink into the horizon while listening to the gentle murmur of the waves is pure bliss.

On the Plate and in the Glass: Creativity, Freshness, and Conviviality

Browsing through customer reviews and checking out the menu, it quickly becomes clear that the food and drink experience lives up to the view:

Exceptional signature cocktails: This is the place's great specialty. Don't miss their original creations, like the famous Ekaterina cocktail (made with Skinos mastic liqueur and vodka), served spectacularly in an actual seashell, or the wonderfully poetic Baracas Sunset. Their fresh fruit smoothies and iced coffees are also perfect for cooling off.

Satisfying food: The menu has something to satisfy every craving throughout the day. From hearty, well-prepared breakfasts to gourmet burgers, generously loaded sharing platters, and high-quality snacks, everything is prepared with care.

Impeccable service: This is one of the most praised aspects among visitors. The welcome is warm, and the team, led by remarkably kind staff, is particularly attentive and always smiling.

Baracas Lounge comes close to perfection. It's the ideal spot to unwind, share a drink with friends, enjoy a romantic evening for two, or simply savor the Mediterranean way of life.

My only tip? Arrive a bit early in the late afternoon, or book ahead, to secure the best table facing the sunset — because this place is, quite rightfully, a victim of its own success!
